The Dublin poet has been central to the rise of the Irish spoken word scene, with videos amassing over 2.5 million views.
Incredibly Irish poet Stephen James Smith will take to the stage of Dublin's Sugar Club on October 03, accompanied by special guest Tony Walsh.
Stephen James Smith has become widely recognised as a stunning Irish poet, whose work has been screened at the London Film Festival and even appears on the syllabus of an American university! Back in 2017, the poet was commissioned to write a celebratory narrative of Ireland for St Patrick’s festival. The resultant ‘My Ireland’ was accompanied by a short film, which was met with huge acclaim.
Accompanied by special guest Tony Walsh, the performance at the Sugar Club is set to be a rip-roaring rock and roller-coaster ride from one of Ireland’s most inspiring artists.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 23 at 9am.
