Ireland's biggest beach party, Sea Sessions, is back with a stacked list of chart-topping acts.
After a rescheduling last year, Sea Sessions Surf and Music festival is set to return this June 17 - 19. The four day event sees English rapper Tinie Tempah, DJ Joel Corry, Irish staples Kodaline and electronic duo Basement Jaxx headlining.
With just over three months to go, the organisers revealed the day-to-day breakdown of the Donegal festival, outlining a host of chart-topping acts.
Taking the stage across the weekend are Paul Wooldford, All Tvvins, Daithí, Kneecap, Pa Sheehy, 49th & Main, Chasing Abbey, Hammer, Rachel Mae Hannon, Lea Heart, Brad Heidi, Colin Perkins, Lyra, Ejeca, The Scratch, Block Rockin’ Beats, Gemma Dunleavy, Malaki, Dart, HousePlants, Kynsy, Monjola, N.O.A.H, Scattered Ashes, THUMPER, True Tides, Chloé Robinson, The Academic, Jamie Webster, Goldie, David Keenan, Welshy, Wyvern Lingo, Bobbi Arlo, Aby Coulibaly, Joel Culpepper, Yasmin Gardezi, Melter, Fia Moon, Anna Mullarkey, Pastiche, Shiv and MC Jerry Fish.
Director Ray O'Donoghue says of the festival's return: “We literally can’t wait to get back at it. It’s been a Long 3 years since the last festival and we felt with this lineup it’s going to be something special. With loads more acts and some top headliners like Joel Corry, Tinie Tempah, Kodaline and Basement Jaxx we think the summer of 2022 is going to be one to remember.”
This year marks the 13th annual Sea Sessions, with the event having premiered back in 2008. The last seven versions of the event have sold out well in advance. With the added pent-up demand, 2022 should be no different.
The whole party takes place in the surfing capital of Ireland, Bundoran, right by the beach. Previously featured acts include the likes of Primal Scream, Bastille, Dermot Kennedy, Paul Weller, Clean Bandit and Picture This. Along with a stacked list of performers, the event also hosts Ireland's largest surfing competition, skating, BMX, Graffiti, Beach Sports and more.

Tickets are priced from €129.90 for 3 days and €159.90 including 4 nights' camping. Limited Day Tickets from €59.90 and Surfers Bar (VIP) upgrades are also available from €60 extra.
