Ruth Negga graces the cover of Vanity Fair
The actress from Limerick just received her first Oscar Nomination.
The 2017 Hollywood issue of Vanity Fair has arrived, and Irish actress Ruth Negga appeared on the cover this year, alongside other Oscar contenders such as Natalie Portman and Emma Stone. The shoot was done by master photographer Annie Leibovitz, and the main photograph puts Negga dead centre in a glittering golden gown.
Negga is up for an Oscar for her role in the historical drama, Loving, in which she plays Mildred Loving, a woman who faced prosecution for her marriage to a white man in 1950s America. She studied drama in Dublin at Trinity, and appeared on the series Love/Hate. Check out the cover for the Vanity Fair Hollywood issue below.
