Quentin Tarantino "stunned and heartbroken" by Harvey Weinstein sex scandal

According to actress Amber Tamblyn, Tarantino requested that she share a brief statement on his behalf after the pair spoke recently. Posting the statement via Twitter, in it Tarantino said,

"For the last week I've been stunned and heartbroken about the revelations that have come to light about my friend for 25 years Harvey Weinstein. I need a few more days to process my pair, emotions, anger and memory and then I will speak publicly about it."

Tamblyn ended by saying that she will be joining a one-day boycott of Twitter in solidarity with actress and Tarantino-collaborator, Rose McGowan after she accused actor Ben Affleck of lying after he denied all knowledge of Weinstein's predatory activity. Telling him to "fuck off", later on she was informed that one of her Tweets was in violation of Twitter's terms and conditions, although the social media site has since alleged that McGowan had posted a private phone number publicly.

The hashtag #WomenBoycottTwitter has so far gained the support of a number of high profile figures, including Kelly Ellis, Anna Paquin, John Cusack, Mark Ruffalo and Kathy Griffin.
