Peter Capaldi Announces the Premier Date of the Newest <I>Doctor Who</I> Series

Whovians should mentally and emotionally prepare themselves.

When asked by an excited fan, Peter Capaldi unofficially announced that the newest series of Doctor Who episodes will begin airing in April 2016. In addition, the great tradition of Christmas episodes will continue, with an air date of 25 December.

Since Jenna Coleman departed the show, the Doctor has taken up yet another young companion, played by Pearl Mackie.
