Olivia Rodrigo covers Sinéad O'Connor 'Nothing Compares 2U' in Dublin
5,000 fans headed to Olivia Rodrigo's sold-out Dublin gig in Clontarf last night, and were treated to a rendition of a Sinead O'Connor/Prince classic.
Olivia Rodrigo delivered a standout set at Fairview Park last night in Dublin, which featured a cover of both Avril Lavigne's 'Complicated' and Irish songstress Sinéad O'Connor's take on Prince's hit 'Nothing Compares 2U'.
The 19-year-old Grammy winner is taking her SOUR tour across the UK and Europe, stopping in Clontarf to perform for 5,000 screaming fans.
Alongside performing hits from the record-breaking debut album like 'deja vu', 'brutal', favourite crime' and 'driver's licence', Rodrigo's rendition of 'Nothing Compares 2U' went down a treat for her Dublin fans.

Many commented on the supportive staff at the show, who were passing out pints of water to the young audience consistently.
Supported by Baby Queen, the Sour Tour 2022 is one of her two Irish dates, as Olivia performed in the Marquee in Cork on Wednesday.
The pop star was seen browsing in Brown Thomas in the city centre on Tuesday before she popped into Gino's Gelato for a crepe. Aoibh Carroll, who bumped into Olivia, recounted the story on TikTok in a clip that has now been viewed over 170,000 times.
The Californian made headlines at Glastonbury last week for dedicating a duet with Lily Allen of ‘Fuck You’ to the US Supreme Court members who voted on Friday to overturn the Roe v Wade ruling.
Last week saw Phoebe Bridgers kick off two weeks of music at the Dublin venue, with Inhaler, Primal Scream, St Vincent and more taking to the stage.
