Netflix releases chilling new teaser for Mindhunter
The series, directed by David Fincher, will premiere fall 2017.
Netflix has released the first trailer for Mindhunter the haunting new crime series from award-winning director David Fincher. Set in 1979, the series focuses on those tasked with evaluating the behaviour of serial killers and venturing into the darkness of murderous minds. Starring Jonathan Groff, Anna Torv, and Hannah Gross, Mindhunter will be available on Netflix in October of this year. The series is based on the book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker, the 1996 book that chronicled the lives of agents in the FBI’s Investigative Support Unit. As Fincher's last work with Netflix, House of Cards became an award-winning hit, this new series should appeal to fans of true crime and stellar filmmaking.
