Netflix Announce New Irish Shot Show Flinch
Today at the Edinburgh TV Festival, Netflix announced a line-up of new unscripted shows - including one shot in a remote farm in Ireland's countryside.
Based on the Irish schoolyard game 'Slaps'. Flinch is a new all action comedy game show with one simple rule: do not flinch.
Brave and foolish contestants gather to test their nerve against three fiendish games. If they flinch, there are painful consequences both for them, and for our hosts, who have each chosen a player to represent them in the games.
The series is hosted by comedians Desiree Burch, Lloyd Griffith and Seann Walsh and produced by Stellify Media (Celebs in Solitary, Beauty Queen and Single). It will be released later this year.
Other shows announced as part of Netflix's line-up include culinary competition show The Final Table, two projects centring on magicians (Death by Magic and Darren Brown's Sacrifice) and football documentary Sunderland Till I Die.
