Netflix books GLOW for a second season

After widespread acclaim for its first season, the Netflix series GLOW will be getting a season two. Starring Alison Brie, the series follows Ruth Wilder, a struggling actress who gets roped into women's wrestling as a desperate gamble to keep her failing career above water. “There’s comedy, there’s drama, there’s action, there’s wrestling,” Brie enthuses about the project. “I think that’s what made this a really exciting project for me. You get to see a little bit of everything and use every tool in your arsenal to attack this role.”
