Monumental sea battle in Game Of Thrones teased
Show-runner claims that it'll beat the battle of Blackwater for spectacle.
Show-runner for Game Of Thrones David Benioff has promised that a naval battle will occur in the upcoming seventh season that will "sail past season two's Blackwater in scope".
Making the comments to TV Insider, he claimed that this maritime clash will come about because "everyone is facing something more dangerous to all of them than any danger they are to each other.”
The UK Independent has speculated that this danger might come in the shape of "the series' new big bad Euron Greyjoy".
However, a recent tweet on the official Game Of Thrones Twitter account seems to suggest that the White Walkers might be involved:

Whatever the source of the sea-borne savagery, it should make for brilliant television when it finally drops.
