Michael Fassbender in Talks to Play Serial Killer in Entering Hades
The real life drama and crime behind the serial killer Jack Unterweger is a fascinating one - and one which Fassbender could bring to life.
After committing murder and spending 15 years in jail, Unterweger had become a celebrity in his home Austria and a contemporary of the Viennese café intellectuals upon his release.
However, a mere year after his release he had already gone back to his homicidal ways, committing murders on prostitutes. His crimes went under the radar for years because of the celebrity facade he was covered by. Unterweger was even so brass as to publicly detail these crimes whilst acting as a journalist for the state broadcaster.
Now, DMC films want to produce this film with Fassbender pinned to play the callous criminal. Entering Hades will be penned by Oscar-winning Alexander Dinelaris (Birdman) and we are waiting to hear who will park themselves in the directors chair.
In the meantime, there is plenty of Fassbender to binge on with him playing lead roles in X:Men Apocalypse, The Light Between Oceans and Assassin's Creed.
