Michael Chernus will play The Tinkerer in the New Spider-Man Movie
The latest bit of news for Spider-Man: Homecoming features yet another new member to the growing cast.
In addition to Michael Keaton as The Vulture, the newest Spider-Man film will also introduce another antagonist in The Tinkerer. In the comics he hails from, he generally acts as a supporting role, designing tech for Spider-Man’s foes. It’s likely that he will create The Vulture’s suit.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will premier 7 July, 2017, following the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. It will be coproduced by Marvel Studios and Columbia Pictures, and distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment. Jon Watts (The Onion News Network) will direct. The film’s cast boasts a robust cast, including Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, and Bokeem Woodbine.
