Marvel’s The Defenders release date revealed
The premiere date for the upcoming Netflix superhero series was revealed along with a new teaser.
A teaser appeared on YouTube today showing the superhero team, consisting of Daredevil, Jessica Jones Luke Cage and Iron Fist, in an elevator before Jessica (Krysten Ritter) smashes the camera.
When the time in the top corner of the video stops, it shows exactly 08:18:20:17, hinting that the series could kick off on August 18, 2017. The date is also already confirmed by Marvel and ABC Studios.
The Defenders is a miniseries which sees the super heroes Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team-up in New York City to fight a common enemy, The Hand.
Previously, a first cryptic trailer for the comic book adaption was released in last year’s July, without actually showing the protagonists that can now be seen in the clip.
