Malaki and Nealo release 'Glory Daze', the final Cocoon track
The track is the culmination of a collaborative project executed in lockdown.
It seems the Malaki hip-hop juggernaut cannot be stopped. The final track on his sophomore project has arrived, and saving the best for last, the young hip-hop artist teamed up with Nealo for 'Glory Daze'.
The track sees the two rappers reflecting on wild nights from two different points of their lives. Where Malaki's inner monologue is of a self-involved teen, worried about his actions more than anything, Nealo plays the seasoned sessioner.
Returning once again as producer is Matthew Harris, who is truly mastering his craft more with every release. The Cocoon series was created entirely in lockdown, and while 'Glory Daze' invokes a particularly stark nostalgia, the whole project has felt wonderfully fresh and new.
Listen to 'Glory Daze' below.
