LISTEN: Sélu shares new single 'Hold Up'
Sélu recently featured on Umwami's single 'Satin'.
Defying the trappings of genre and fusing elements of jazz, R&B and hip-hop in an electrifying combination, Sélu has shared a brand new single called 'Hold Up'.
Sélu is best known for his stunning collaboration with up-and-coming producer Uwmami on 'Satin', and the producer hails his unique style as an essential part of the track. "He came back with these amazing vocals that I was really excited to build around. He has such a unique style, so the song became much more cinematic and immersive," she explained to Hot Press' Lucy O'Toole.
Sélu celebrated the release of 'Hold Up', saying on Facebook: "It’s been an up & down journey as I’m sure you all feel the same too. I’m resetting after this one!"
He will also be dropping a YouTube video at 6pm this evening.
