LISTEN: Galway's Electric Dreams share debut album
Listen to Behind The Mask below.
Combining a fresh R&B-flavoured indie-pop sound with a message of inclusion and community, Electric Dreams have shared their long-awaited debut album, Behind The Mask.
Entirely written and recorded by the band in their Galway-based studio, the six-track album was polished off by veteran producer Bob Macciochi of SC Mastering, UK.
Electric Dreams are supported by That’s Life, the award-winning arts programme of the Brothers of Charity Services, Galway. That’s Life offers adults with intellectual disabilities opportunities to discover and realise their artistic potential, through working with established artists and participating in high-quality arts programmes.
Electric Dreams features Elizabeth Elizabeth McCormack (Vocals), Karen Breen (Keyboard), Tiago DaSilva (Drum pads), Martin McDonagh (Guitar), Aengus Hackett (Guitar, Vocals) and Andrew Madec (Bass, Vocals).
As well as boldly breaking down barriers through their music, with Behind The Mask Electric Dreams have crafted one of the catchiest and thrillingly original Irish pop albums of recent memory.
Like many other musicians, the collaborative band have been heavily impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis – with their scheduled run of gigs in support of the new album unable to go ahead. You can support Electric Dreams by buying Behind The Mask below:
