Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm Is Coming Back
HBO are delighted to announce that Larry David and Co are coming back!
After a 5 year hiatus, the Gloden Globe award winning comedy show is returning with a season 9.
The return of Curb Your Enthusiasm was officially confirmed by a HBO subsidiary network, Medium. "We're thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can't wait to see what he has planned," Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming gladly confirmed.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is the brain child of comedic genius Larry David who attributes head writer of Seinfield to his name also. In the semi-scripted sitcom, David plays an exaggerated version of himself. The show ran from 2000 to 2011, complying of 80 episodes overall, making it the longest running comedy series on the prestigious network. In it's time, it garnered over 38 Emmy awards and has become a staple sitcom in American comedy. David chimed in on the revival of the show by commenting; "In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, 'I left, I did nothing, I returned.'"
HBO have been scarce with the details so far but promise to announce the finer details of the programme's plot as they unfold. A premiere date is also yet unknown but all that matters is Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back!
