Lankum release 'Hunting The Wren' live in Dublin, announce Barbican show
The Barbican performance will be the group's biggest headline show to date.
Lankum are the band that made trad trendy again, by combining punkish, droning instrumentals with traditional songs and the timeless voice of Radie Peat. The Dublin four-piece's third album The Livelong Day was recently nominated for a Choice Music Prize Album of the Year.
To accompany the announcement of the tour dates (which will take the band across America and Europe), Lankum have released an arresting video of 'Hunting the Wren', directed by Peadar Gill at their sold out Vicar Street show. While in America, the group will record a session at NPR's legendary Tiny Desk. The Barbican show will take place on the 15th of April, 2020. Tickets are on sale now.
