JK Rowling Announces Plans for Fantastic Beasts to be Five Films
Sounds like this story wants more than just a trilogy.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is nearly upon us. Until recently, Warner Bros planned to make the film into a trilogy, which is pretty modest for a big Hollywood franchise. At a recent panel in London, JK Rowling announced that there are now plans to make five films.
That’s the modern Hollywood we know. It may seem premature to place so many expectations on one series of movies before the movie is out, but we’ll just have to wait and see until it’s released. Harry Potter is a worldwide phenomenon, so we expect this movie will do well, and the trailers look promising.
