The gritty spy thriller showed no signs of fatigue with Matt Damon's return
Jason Bourne is back and he's bringing the masses with him. The fourth instalment of the franchise starring Matt Damon took in an estimated $60 million in the first three days of its release.
The fourth film of the saga is now the second in opening weekend takings, only behind the third movie, The Bourne Ultimatum, which coined $69 million.
Star Trek was second this weekend, followed by the comedy Bad Moms, featuring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn.
