Jack Reynor joining the cast of new Kathryn Bigelow film
The film will be based on the 1967 Detroit Race Riots.
He isn't going to be Han Solo, but Jack Reynor is still one of the faces to watch.
The film already has a strong cast with other rising stars such as Will Poulter and Ben O'Toole.
Here's the back story: The riots broke out when police raided an unlicensed after-hours bar. All hell broke loose resulting in five days of looting and the destruction of public buildings. By the end of the riots, 43 people were dead and 1000 people were injured.
Bigelow has made a name for herself with edgy productions such as The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty, so she should have no problem bringing one of the deadliest of riots in US history to life.
