Jack Black Joins Dwayne Johnson for Jumanji Reboot
We're apprehensive enough when we hear the word 'reboot' used in the same sentence as one of our film favorites but here at the HP HQ's we honestly cannot bring ourselves round to the Jumanji reboot.
Whether we like it or not, it is happening.
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart were already signed up to the project but Johnson revealed last night on his Instagram account that another larger-than-life comedian is lined up to star in Jumanji.
Johnson is updating his Instagram account with Jumanji casting news as it unfolds. Many have lashed out at the reboot citing that the 1995 Robin Williams classic should be left untouched. Johnson responded to those critics by giving his word to "honor his name and the character of Alan Parrish".
So that's Johnson, Hart and Black all confirmed for the Jumanji gig with two other stars yet to be announced. We await the news with bated sighs.
The jungle animals will be back to raise havoc when the Jumanji reboot debuts in Summer 2017.
