The Big Lebowski actor dies aged 85
David Huddleston was best known for his titular role in The Big Lebowksi.
The talented character actor's career spanned more than 50 years in Broadway, Film and TV.
However, he didn't gain notoriety until his titular role in The Big Lebowski. We all remember Jeff Bridges "The Dude", but it was Huddleston's cantakerous wheelchair bound millionaire who stole the show.
The movie wasn't a blockbuster in 1998, but it has since gained cult status. Huddleston will be remembered for other great performances in Blazing Saddles, Santa Claus: The Movie and The Producers.
