Sing Street coming to Merrion Square this Thursday
Irish film at its funnest
Happenings has entertained us for the summer with its eclectic collection of open-air film screenings. Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
They will end in style with a screening of the hugely popular Irish film Sing Street directed by John Carney. The screening will take place in Merrion Square this Thurday at 10 pm.

Sing Street takes us back to 1980s Dublin where a young boy's life is changed for the better by music. For fans of '80s culture, there is a plethora of quirky clothes, tunes and mannerisms to be found in the film. Starring a rake of Irish talent including Aidan Gillen and Ferdia Walsh Peelo, the film is guaranteed to have you leaving Merrion Square with a big smile on your face.
