In what promises to be an extraordinary event for extraordinary times, the Irish Arts Center will host its annual Spirit of Ireland Gala virtually this year. The event is open to everyone who is willing to donate to the IAC artistic and cultural programming.
The night will feature some very special guests, including performances by Sting, Elvis Costello, Loah, Aedín Moloney, Camille O'Sullivan, Declan O'Rourke, Joanie Madden & Cherish the Ladies, Arturo O'Farrill Quartet and more, plus appearances by Liam Neeson, Gabriel Byrne, Roma Downey, Colum McCann, and Paul Muldoon, to name a few. The IAC is celebrating "the imminent completion of our new building — just weeks from now," and hopes the event will help people to look ahead to a more hopeful horizon in 2021.
The event will also honoring Joe Moglia, former CEO & chairman of TD Ameritrade, current chairman of the Coastal Carolina Athletics Division, and chairman of Fundamental Global & Capital Wealth Advisors.
