Irish actress Sarah Greene to star in Ransom

Actress Sarah Greene, whose credits include roles on the popular horror series Penny Dreadful and the historical series Vikings is currently playing a starring role on the new series Ransom. Greene plays a hostage negotiator in the thriller series. The series premiere aired on New Year's day on CBS.
Greene will also appear in the upcoming Irish historical drama Black 47 starring Hugo Weaving. Her past role as Hecate Poole on the series Penny Dreadful recently earned her a Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Drama award at the 2016 2016 IFTA Awards. She was also nominated for another 2016 IFTA Award, for Best Actress in a Leading Role, for her work on the Irish historical miniseries Rebellion.
