Irish Actress Amy Shiels Cast in Twin Peaks Reboot

Shiels will be sitting pretty amongst a cast of A-List stars including Noami Watts, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Amanda Seyfried, Jim Belushi, Tim Roth and Michael Cera, to name but a few.

25 years after it shook the nation with its supernatural eerie plot, Twin Peaks is being revived by the original masterminds David Lynch and Mark Frost. Deemed one of the best TV shows of all time, the cult following that Twin Peaks garnered spawned onto video games, books and songs revolving around the little village. It's not yet known what character Shiels will play but it's a dream gig to get.
In the meantime, Shiels will be onscreen with James Nesbitt and Genevieve O’Reilly in the 4 part series The Secret which launches tomorrow evening on ITV at 9pm.
