According to Variety, Martin Moszkowicz, chairman of the board at Constantin Film confirmed a reboot is in development.
Paul W.S. Anderson announced Resident Evil: The Final Chapter would be the last film in the series, but Constantin Film seems to be preparing a reboot of the franchise.
The original series are based on the popular Capcom games and adapted to the screen by Paul W.S. Anderson. The six movies follow Milla Jovovich who plays Alice, a former security operative at Umbrella, the bioengineering pharmaceutical company responsible for the zombie outbreak.
