Immersive Stories Exhibition Added To Audi Dublin International Film Festival Bill
The Audi Dublin International Film Festival (ADIIF) has a special Virtual Reality conference and exhibition (Immersive Stories) at The Mansion House next February 24 and 25.
The immersive stories event will feature, amongst others, special guests Curtis Hickman (founder of hyper-reality entertainment startup The Void) and Diana Williams (Lucasfilm Ltd’s creative executive and content strategist).
The focus of the Immersive Stories' Conference slot will be divided across three distinct themes: fictional story-worlds, news and documentary and music and sound. It will feature world leaders in multi-platform and immersive entertainment, who will give a glimpse of what the future of entertainment looks like with new, progressive storytelling opportunities.
The Immersive Stories exhibition will provide a hands-on opportunity for attendees to participate in the best multi-platform and immersive entertainment.
Early bird Tickets are being sold for €80 (full price is €95). This price includes access to the conference, exhibition, and includes lunch and refreshments. The event will be from 10-7pm.
As a taster of what to expect, take a look at the Immersive Content Creation and Hackathon event at RHA Gallery and IMRO - of which, Screen Training Ireland (in collaboration with ADIFF and Audi Ireland) hosted back in September:
