Marvel’s Iron Fist announced date
Netflix announced today the premiere date and released first look image for their original series Marvel’s Iron Fist.
The thirteen one-hour episodes will premiere on March 17, 2017, continuing the Marvel franchise on Netflix.
Marvel’s Iron Fist is the fourth of four epic live-action adventure series on the streaming site. Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones and Marvel’s Luke Cage are all currently available. This will lead up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders.
The drama is centred on billionaire Danny Rand (Finn Jones) who returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his martial arts mastery and his ability to summon a mystical force known as the Iron Fist.
Iron Fist (Daniel “Danny” Rand) is a superhero that first appeared in 1974 in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It has been adapted to animated television series and video games.
