The rising star was also recently seen in Alien:Covenant
Jonah Hill's upcoming film Mid-90s has started shooting but there's already been a change in some of the lead personal. Katherine Waterston, an actress who just seems to be everywhere at the moment, will now be playing a part that was originally set for Michelle Williams.
Written and directed by Hill, the project will be set, unsurprisingly in the mid-1990s and follows a young boy named Steve who is navigating life Los Angeles near the end of the last millennium. Played by up and comer Sunny Suljic , Steve is skateboarder on the cusp of teenage years.
Waterston will play Steve's single mother who is finding it hard to get by and support her son. Lucas Hedges of Manchester By The Sea fame will also star as Steve's older brother. Waterston will soon appear in Steven Soderbergh's Logan Lucky and the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them .
