Downton Abbey film in the works?
We might be seeing more of the Crawley family
Michelle Dockery aka Lady Mary Crawley has always been a fiend for teasing her fans emotions. It looks like she may be up to her old tricks as she's dropping hints about a possible Downton Abbey film.
It's not the first time rumours have circulated, as writer Julian Fellowes has often said he would love to continue to explore the world of Downton and its characters through film.
Dockery may have a crammed schedule with projects such as Godless and Good Behaviour, but she's not saying no to a film, stating that she misses her Downton family.
One character who will most definitely not be making an appearance is the indomitable Dowager Countess played by the great Maggie Smith. But where would we be without the Countess' legendary and pithy put-downs.
With such an ensemble cast, would you want to watch the film without some of your favourite characters?
Let's hope the rumours are true as it would be interesting to see what more the brilliant Fellowes has in store for his characters.
