Arrested Development will be a head-scratching whodunit in Season Five
Liza Minelli's character Lucille Two will be the centre of a murder mystery.
Indications are that the new season of Arrested Development will be based around the attempt to figure out what happened to Liza Minelli's character Lucille Two at the end of Season Four.
Star Jason Bateman told Entertainment Weekly Radio that Lucille's demise is "sort of a central thread around which [creator Mitch Hurwitz] is going to braid in all the colorful plot complications that he knows how to do.”
Bateman also said that the scheduling conflicts which complicated the production of the show's fourth season won't be an issue this time around - which should please fans who were critical of the convoluted structure of the most recent instalment.
