Hugh Laurie to Receive Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
After four decades in the business, Laurie is finally to be inducted onto the Walk of Fame.
The 'Hugh Laurie' Star of Fame will be stamped in cement forevermore in 2017.
The British acting legend has had a vast career exemplifying his talents as an actor, an author, a singer and a comedian. Starting out as half of the double act of Fry and Laurie (with his close pal Stephen Fry), Laurie has since evolved into becoming one of the most beloved actors in the industry. His time as Dr. Gregory House on the hit drama House earned him 2 Golden Globe awards and established him as one of the highest paid actors on TV.
Each year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce select a chosen few to grant a star to. Laurie will be joined by Ice Cube and Bobby Brown among others when his name is immortalised on the Walk of Fame in 2017's ceremony. Currently there are 2,583 stars dotted along the Walk of Fame since its establishment in 1960.
And now, for one of Laurie's finer acting moments...
