House Of Cards To Return Without Kevin Spacey
Netflix has given the green light for eight episodes of the popular TV series to be filmed in order to "bring closure" for fans.
'House of Cards' was axed after Kevin Spacey was hit with a wave of sexual harassment allegations,as well as claims that he had sex with minors.
The show had just started filming of season six when the allegations first surfaced, but Netflix decided to shutdown the set.
At the time, it was even being speculated that the TV streaming giant was going to pull the plug without any "closure" for fans.
But they have now confirmed that eight episodes will be filmed for season six. It looks like the main focus will now be on Robin Wright's character in these last episodes.
“We are excited to bring closure to fans,” said Netflix boss Ted Sarandos.
