Hot for 2020 Irish Acts: Calling All Horses

2019 saw Belfast-based label Black Tragick Records continue to impress with their stable of gifted artists – and this outfit are certainly in the thoroughbred category. Led by the force of nature that is Martin Corrigan (AKA the former frontman of Skinflints, Alloy Mental and Corrigan), and boasting General Fiasco tubthumper Leaky in their ranks, Calling All Horses’ primal proto-punk has got tongues wagging and heads banging. Recent single ‘Oh Desire’ was a big moment (and what a rambunctious rump-shaker it was), and they also have support slots with The Murder Capital and Hot Snak under their belts.
