Has Zendaya’s <I>Spider-Man: Homecoming</I> Role Been Revealed?

The Disney Channel star might play Mary Jane Watson.

The latest bit of movie buzz surrounding the latest Spider-Man reboot, if true, should be pretty big for fans of the web-swinging superhero and his cast of supporting characters. According to The Wrap, Zendaya will play Mary Jane Watson, arguably Spider-Man’s most well known love interest.

Again, nothing is confirmed at this point. If this news is correct, then it will be another case of colorblind casting in the Marvel movies, with normally white Heimdall of Thor played by acclaimed actor Idris Elba.
