Harvey Weinstein Pleads Not Guilty
The disgraced movie mogul has pleaded not guilty to rape and criminal sex charges.
Harvey Weinstein appeared in a New York court yesterday to enter his plea after he was charged and arrested last week. He is now out on bail for $1m.
The former Miramax producer lost his job after he was accused of sexually assaulting a countless number of women when #MeToo movement first began last year.
The two specific charges include the accusation that he raped a woman in a hotel room and that he forced another woman to perform oral sex on him in his office in 2004.
If found guilty of either offence, Weinstein could face up to 25 years behind bars.
