Happenings to celebrate Irish film and history with epic 'Centenary Cinema' programme
Irish cinema has seen a renaissance of late, and now we get to re-live some of the classics.
The programme will involve a collection of open air cinema screenings scheduled between August and October.
Special guests attending such as Jim Sheridan, Ed Guiney and Lenny Abrahamson will discuss the historical, cultural and political challenges that Ireland has faced throughout the decades.
Then the guests and Happenings will make donations to charities of their choosing and will work alongside the selected charities to heighten awareness for their cause.
