Guillermo del Toro’s Newest Film Begins Production
The acclaimed director of the weird focuses on a new IP set in Cold War America during the early 60s.
Guillermo del Toro’s latest movie, The Shape of Water, promises to be otherworldly, which is completely in line with his brand of work. The movie sounds mysterious, and details are mysterious, too. We do know that it will feature a star-studded cast, including Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Octavia Spencer.
The Mexican film director’s work includes Hellboy, Pan’s Labyrinth, and last year’s Crimson Peak.
