Game of Thrones (GoT) might get four spin-offs stories
GoT has four potential spin-off series in the making with George R. R. Martin and Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss as executive producers on all projects.
HBO has commissioned four screenwriters to continue to universe of George R.R. Martin.
The writers are Max Borenstein, known for 2014’s Godzilla, 2015’s Minority Report and the recent Kong: Skull Island. Then there is Jane Goldman who worked on Kingsman: The secret Service, Kick-Ass and X-men: Days of Future Past. As well as, Brian Helgeland, writer of A Knight’s Tale and Carly Wray who worked on The Leftovers and Mad Men. Martin is said to be personally helping with Wray and Goldman. Once the scripts are finished, HBO and Martin will decide whether to realize them.
The network hasn’t given a deadline to these scripts, stating: "We'll take as much or as little time as the writers need and, as with all our development, we will evaluate what we have when the scripts are in."
