Ed Sheeran isn't optimistic about the fate of his Game of Thrones character
In an interview with MTV News, Ed Sheeran has confessed that while the fate of his character wasn't specifically shown on the show, he doesn't exactly think he'd last long in battle. Sheeran had a cameo last season that was met with mixed reviews, and he finally was able to speak about the future of his minor character in an interview.
“We were all quite young, those soldiers,” he explained. “I doubt I’m going to survive for that long, to be honest, when there are dragons in the world.”
Due to his less-than-optimistic attitude regarding his character's life span, Sheeran was pretty direct when addressing the rumours that he'd be back for another season.
“Nah, I’ve done it now. No one wants to see me come back,” he said. “I wanted a cameo in it, and I’ve done the cameo. I’m cool with it, though. I enjoyed it.”
That's that, then. Watch Sheeran's cameo from last season below.
