There's never a dull moment where Eminem is concerned! His new album is choc a bloc with taunts and insults, with Tyler, the Creator, Harvey Weinstein and Machine Gun Kelly among those who join so called President Donald Trump as the butt of the rapper's ire.
A new album has arrived from Eminem!
Overnight, the man christened Marshall Mathers released a surprise 13 track opus, entitled Kamikaze, which is already receiving widespread attention for the anti-Donald Trump message contained in its opening track ’The Ringer’
Eminem has anti-Trump form, having already castigated the so called President on 'The Storm'. Eminem's most recent album, Revival, the album released on December 15, 2017. That album featured guest vocals by Beyoncé and Ed Sheehan and was a US and UK No.1.
Now he has returned to the Trump theme, accusing the President of having “sent the Secret Service to meet in person / To see if I really think of hurtin’ him / Or ask if I’m linked to terrorists”. He also says of Trump: “I empathise with the people this evil serpent sold the dream to that he’s deserted.”
Others who are targeted in what is a characteristically splenetic, but entertaining record include Harvey Weinstein; Tyler, the Creator; Machine Gun Kelly; Lil Pump; Lil Xan – and more! The lines on Harvey Weinstein are particularly hilarious: “I Harvey Weinstein, a bathrobe hanging open / My code name is groper, I roleplay with lotion / I fucked on the world then I throw away the Trojan.”
Among the surprise guests on the record are Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and Royce Da 5’9.
Regarding the album overall, he announced on Twitter:
