Disney is currently searching for a young Irish actor to star in Artemis Fowl
Disney has announced that they will be adapting Eoin Colfer's classic young adult novel Artemis Fowl into a film, and they're on a quest to find the best young Irish actor for the job. The studio is looking for a young boy between the age of nine and twelve, with an "academic and emotional intelligence". According to a statement from Disney, they are looking for someone who embodies the central characteristics of titular character Artemis Fowl, saying "Artemis is highly perceptive and good at reading people. Most importantly, Artemis is warmhearted and has a great sense of humour; he has fun in whatever situation he is in and loves life."
If you know a young actor who fits that description, applications must be submitted by a parent or guardian, with a recent photo, indicating which of the following dates you would be available. Applications should be emailed to [email protected].
