The Trainspotting director has been picked to take over from Sam Mendes who made the last two 007 movies.

"We are working on a script right now," said Danny Boyle, whose mother hailed from East Galway.
The Oscar winning direct said that they're hoping to start working on the 25th James Bond movie Bond "right at the end of the year".
