CW’s Freedom Fighters: The Ray is Your Newest Animated Superhero Series
Following on the heels of the success of the animated series, Vixen, CW is moving forward with a second animated show, featuring yet another obscure comic book hero
While not much is known about the series at this point, one big announcement is that its main character, the titular Ray, will be gay. While the CW’s superhero shows have featured LGBT before, this is the first time that one will lead. The news is a welcome announcement, as the CW continues to lead the way in diversity and inclusion.
Freedom Fighters: The Ray will hit the airwaves in 2017.
