Colin Farrell Nominated For Top Film Award
The Dubliner has been nominated for a Best Actor gong at the European Film Awards for his stand-out performance in 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer'.
The director Yorgos Lanthimos, who worked with Farrel on 'The Lobster', has been nominated in the best director category.
He's also been short-listed for best screenplay along with co-writer Efthimis Filippou.
"I’m delighted for everyone involved in 'The Killing of a Sacred Deer; that it’s getting such an endorsement from the European Film Awards, it’s a real honour," says producer Ed Guiney.
