Bryan Fuller No Longer the Showrunner for Star Trek Discovery
Today is not a good day for Star Trek news.
It's with great sadness that we tell you all that Bryan Fuller has stepped down as showrunner for the upcoming TV series Star Trek Discover. He's probably focussed on the televised American Gods adaptation and the untitled Amazin Adventures revival. He has scripted the first two episodes and mapped out the direction for the first season, but will only remain on the series as an executive producer.
Akiva Goldsman, most prominent for his writing and producing work, will take over as showrunner. If you want to know what he's worked on, we recommend a Google search. Best temper your expectations.
