Brooklyn Nine-Nine and New Girl will have a cross over episode aired in October.
Fox announced that the two hit sitcoms will have a 2 episode crossover that will span both shows. This seems like an odd fit because, while the two shows are tonally similar Brooklyn Nine-Nine features much more over the top and surreal action than New Girl. New Girl typically sticks to the 'Manic Pixie Dream Girl' driven story arcs that typify Deschenal's career.
Both the comedies feature relatively toothless quirky humour so at least on that level they'll fit.
