A show about wanting to win an Emmy has been nominated for two Emmys
The web series An Emmy for Megan might just win Megan Amram an Emmy
Megan Amram's web series, a six-episode show in which its creator campaigns for an Emmy, has two chances at completing its goal.
An Emmy for Megan is nominated for Outstanding Shortform Comedy or Drama and Outstanding Actress in a Shortform Comedy or Drama.
The series was released on 27 April, which was the deadline for a project to be considered for this year's Emmy Awards.
Amram, who is also a writer-producer for TV comedy The Good Place, is the web series' creator, lead actress, writer, director, executive producer and musical composer.
While the actress-writer-producer-etc is clearly delighted by her nominations, she's still going for gold:
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU sincerely from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is celebrating #AnEmmyForMegan today. But remember: it's not called #TwoNominationsForMegan, it's called #AnEmmyForMegan. Because what matters is that trophy. SEE YOU ON THE WINNER'S PODIUM/STAGE

We hope An Emmy for Megan wins an Emmy for Megan just so we can keep saying An Emmy for Megan won an Emmy for Megan. Nice.
